these skills up to date. For others, there is
a need to have help getting started.
Training
Since the Centre opened in 1998, we have
trained over 1000 adults and many have been able to
secure new/improved employment as a result
ESOL - English as a Second Language
Computer Centre
In partnership with UK Online, The Regeneration Trust Computer Centre offers internet access and a range of training for beginner's to intermediate level covering all ages from 16 to 80+.
Training Includes:
- First Steps – Beginners are offered classes
to learn basic IT skills
- Intermediate Classes – Classes are regularly
scheduled on popular software packages and other IT skills including:
- Internet/Web Design
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Photoshop
- UK Online– As part of our commitment to widening
participation, we offer free computer sessions which
are open to all members of the public

Counselling
For many people life on inner city estates
is painful. The Regeneration Trust provides counselling for women
who suffer the effects of abuse, domestic violence,
depression and self-harm.
Those who come for help often do so via contact we
have with the families we help through the range of
services we provide.
Our trained counsellor offers a hope for change to
those who would otherwise slip through the net. She
is committed to seeing her clients gain confidence and
to empowering individuals so that they can be brought
out of isolation and enabled to flourish as part of
the community.
We work closely with local GPs, Community Psychiatric
Nurses, Psychiatrists and Social Workers. Our counsellor
is committed to on-going professional development and
has regular external supervision.
